Kinkhoest is een meldingsplichtige ziekte groep B2: melden binnen een dag na vaststellen van de ziekte
Behandeling van kinkhoestinfecties in principe standaard bij kinderen <2 jaar.
Bij kinderen >2 jaar: overweeg om te behandelen bij regelmatig contact met kinderen <1 jaar om de transmissie te voorkomen.
